Jim Bowman (James Claude Bowman) is interviewed by Joel Evans on October 14, 2002. Bowman talks about his time serving in the United States military from the time right after the Korean War, until the time of the United States entry into the Middle East during the nineties. Jim speaks about his duties as an infantryman as he worked his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming a Special Forces officer during the Vietnam War. Jim explains how his service in the military affected his life, what he learned from his tours as a soldier during war, and how his community reacted to the changes the country was facing during that time.
