Description

H. Taylor Rogers was a bookseller, printer, and supplier of stationary. His shop on Patton Avenue in Asheville also did framing and sold souvenirs. Rogers made photographs that were published as postcards and sets of postcards. In 1890, he published “Rogers’ Asheville: Photogravures,” a 23-page guide to Asheville and surrounds. In 1906, he published a similar volume, titled “Souvenir of Asheville.”
