Description
Early postcards illustrating life and scenery in western North Carolina were published by several companies in and around the region. Little is known about Frank T. Smith (1858-1944) who took the photographs that appear on this postcard. Smith was, by profession, a pharmacist with a drug store located in Franklin, North Carolina. As an artist, he made paintings and photographs.
