Description

This undated photograph shows Tennessee Gap School (also known as Tanasee Gap School) which opened in approximately 1938 and was abandoned after the spring of 1952. Tennessee Gap, Charley's Creek, Wolf Creek, Sols Creek, and Rock Bridge schools consolidated to form the Canada Consolidated Elementary School which remained open until 1982 when the students were transferred to Camp Lab school in Cullowhee.
