Abstract

This thesis-exhibition explored a fusion of industry, Earth's language and minimal means for the prototypical construction of paintings. It relies heavily on materials and fractal tension, occasionally entering into the three dimensional world to further the illusion of real and corporeal space. It pushes artistic process systems for visual acuity and forward momentum, each piece building on its predecessors. The installation reflects my concerns in the struggle for imagery that exists and exerts itself beyond decorative design. Through this thesis exhibition I will have explored the paradoxes and interconnectivity between myself, the piece, the audience and the chaos of the wall itself.
