Description

Amy opens with Annie Lee Bryson’s poem “Corn Shuck Doll,” followed by Doreyl’s interview with Bryson. Bryson hails from Cane Creek in Cullowhee and is known locally as the “Corn Shuck Doll Lady.” Amy welcomes Mary Moody of Sylva, who grew up in Cherokee; she shares her experiences with cakewalks as a child in the local school system. Harry Cagle ends the show with “Old Joe Clark.”
