Description

Amy’s opening story is “Granny and the Mule.” Doreyl welcomes Jon Zachary from Cashiers, a songwriter and aerial photographer, who sings one of his own creations, “Ballad of the Piper Club.” Amy speaks with Jim Ed Powell from Tuckasegee about his years of experience as a “caller” for local cakewalks; he talks about the community’s involvement in helping those with unfortunate emergencies and problems. Harry Cagle and the Country Cousins “Rubber Dolly” ends the show.
