Description

The show begins with the instrumental "In the Garden"--featuring dulcimer and flute--from Jo Northup and Richard Birt of Asheville. Doreyl joins Peggy Dawson in her garden in Tuckasegee to discuss planting and preserving fall vegetables. Then Amy visits with 85-year-old Jean Frady, also from Tuckasegee, who talks about her family in Western North Carolina. The show ends with "God on the Mountain" from the group Children of Zion, featuring Betty Brown of Tuckasegee.
