Five miles south of Dillsboro on 441 to Savannah community, two miles on Greens Creek Road, one mile to Buchanan Branch, one and one half [mile?] on the logging road along Greens Creek. Elevation 3,500 ft. Well drained, rocky, well exposed, 20 deg slope. Well distributed, med. to large [tree]. 29 Jun 1964.
