Description
Ray Pressley is interviewed by a Smoky Mountain High School student as a part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. Born in Sylva and a lifelong resident of Pressley Creek, a road named after his great-grandfather, Pressley discusses growing up in Jackson County and shares the history of his family. Pressley describes his education at Western and his career in education. He shares stories of fishing, raising Percheron horses, and raising, training, and competing all over the country with beagles.
