Description

In this letter of April 21, 1864, Henry Marshall Misemer (1832-1865) writes his "Dear wife," Martha Misemer, from Nashville, Tennessee. He shares how much pleasure he gets from writing letters to her and that he is so happy that she trusts God and prays for him and his children. He looks forward to being home for good and if that does not happen, to meeting her in heaven. He has sent her some goods through Brient and will send her money when he returns.
