Description

In this letter of April 21, 1865 Levi Morrison Bogart (1842-1865) writes "my Sister Marth," M. J. Misemer, from Parole Camp near Vicksburg. He says he has had a hard time since being captured and if he could he would join the regiment exchange. He assures her that the health of the boys in company F is good despite the prison and camp. He says it would be impossible to describe the Prison that the company has survived, except that Harve Brown and Han Pearson, who have already been exchanged.
