Description

Martha J. Misemer, nee Bogart, was left a widow with four children following the death of her husband Henry Marshall Misemer in the April 27, 1865 Sultana Disaster. These legal documents contain the following: a one-page Widow's Claim for Pension, January 27, 1866; Claim for Widow's Pension, With Minor Children, undated; a two-page document verifying information provided in the Widow's Pension, With Minor Children, March 14, 1867; a cover sheet and casualty sheet concerning the death of Henry M. Misemer, May or June, 1865.
