Gerald Chambers attended Western Carolina University during the late 1960s and early 1970s. He discusses his time as a student and his role as a dorm counselor in the Men’s Housing Government. He shares his experience as student editor of the Western Carolinian and the growing interest in students’ rights and student authority on campus during the latter half of the 1960s.
