Alexis Brodie talks about growing up in the military and moving often. Brodie talks about coming to Western Carolina University and joining the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) as an ally. Brodie served as president of SAGA and through that role was able to create the Preferred Name Policy on campus. Brodie talks about events that SAGA puts on including the Tunnel of Oppression. She would like to see more changes on campus for the LGBTQ community regarding options for dorm living, and bathrooms.
