Description
Bride and groom Mary Ashworth Barber Easley and Genatus Robertson (Red) Easley pose for a portrait on their wedding day. The wedding took place at the home of the bride’s parents on Love Lane in Waynesville. The child behind them is Elizabeth Barber, the bride’s niece, who was the ring bearer. This photograph is from film that was brought to Sherrill’s Studio for developing, but the prints were never picked up. The name written on the unclaimed envelope is Barber. Sherrill’s studio was founded by George Dexter Sherrill (1879–1931) in 1902 and was the first photography studio in Haywood County.
