Description

A photograph showing the lower end of a landslide that occurred July 16, 1906. The event destroyed the barn and orchard at Davidson River Ranger Station, seen to the right, killing the horse of the supervisor and injuring the horse of Assitant Ranger O'Kelly. The landslide brought down big trees stripped of their bark and shorn of their branches, covering the ground for a depth of three feet. The photograph was taken on July 20th, a cloudy day.
