Description
In this letter of February 28, 1935, Laura Kephart writes her son Leonard to let him know his package and letter arrived and she was happy to have some family news. She tells him that Mr. and Mrs. Coburn were killed in an automobile accident, and she has asked I. K. Stearns to take over Horace Kephart’s affairs. She would like Leonard to ask Mr. Cammerer, the director of the National Parks Service, about the request from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to put Horace Kephart’s things in a new museum.
