In this letter of March 14, 1937, Laura Kephart writes to her son Leonard Kephart from Boonville where she is staying with her daughter Barbara. She shares with him all the latest social activity of the family. She brings his attention to an article I. K. Stearns sent her from “Collier” which seems suspiciously familiar and she has let the editor know. She mentions the death of Mr. Brashear, Mrs. Quick, and Julia Follett and ends with a hope that Leonard and his family will come for a visit.
