Description
In this letter of December 12, 1938, Laura Kephart writes her son Leonard Kephart to share what she has been up to and where she has been. She says that she was able to buy herself something with the money I. K. Stearns sent her from the sale of the “Cherokee booklets” that Horace Kephart wrote. It is being used at the Cherokee Boarding School as a textbook. She includes a copy of “The Agency Wash 18th Edition” edited by Roy and Horace Kephart, the sons of George Kephart, who are 8 and 10.
