Description

In this letter of February 16, 1946, Laura Kephart writes her son Leonard Kephart and tells him that the last of the cows have been sold and the Palmers have moved out. She and Julia are cleaning out the house and she is upset because the Rileys gave away some furniture they left for her. She is hoping that her grandchildren Laura, Roy, Sam, and Marnie will all be at Cornell in the fall. She asks that all family units take a photograph together and send it to her since they won’t be able to all get together this year. She also shares that she found the glass plate negatives of herself taken by Horace Mack in the Kermiss dress.
