Description
In this letter of February 28, 1967, Lucy Fernow writes Dear Folks, possibly addressing her brother George Stebbins Kephart. She agrees with him that it is a good idea to share one’s after death wishes with one’s children. She reminds him that their mother’s ashes are still at Bang’s Funeral Home and that she called to see if it is possible to get Laura’s ashes to North Carolina where Horace Kephart, their father, is buried. She is unable to go due to health issues. She is thankful to George for uncovering family history and says that all the papers left at the Ferris Place were destroyed by their aunt Julie or given away. She will ask the historian of the Unitarian Church if he has any records.
