Clarence and Sally Fleming (seated) with onlookers watching them carve. Married couple Clarence Fleming (1887-1962) and Sally Fleming (1896-1985) were early Brasstown Carvers. They were photographed carving together as early as 1935. Clarence was best known for his pig carvings.
