Description
Brasstown Carver Verda Dockery Anderson (1921-2013) was one of many carvers in the extended Anderson-Dockery family. She may have begun carving as early as 1947. She was known for her geese carvings but did a variety of other animals as well. Her daughters-in-law Janice Anderson and Christine Gilbert began carving because of Verda.
