Description
Mary Lou Carpenter (standing) and an unidentified woman with two Brasstown Carvers carvings. Mary Lou and her husband Jack Carpenter were both Brasstown Carvers. Mary Lou also worked at John C. Campbell Folk School for many years, beginning in the late 1960s. At first her work there was finishing carvings; she later worked in the Craft Shop shipping department.
