The site of Strawberry Hill, former Asheville residence of the Houghteling family. Gifford Pinchot had a relationship with Laura Houghteling while working as the forester for the Biltmore Estate, which lasted until Laura's death from tuberculosis. This image shows a dirt road to the right and trees and shrubs to the left.
