Description

A twelve-foot log bridge in Pisgah National Forest. The bridge saves 60 feet of trail or a change in grade. Donor note: "by [Alfred] Gaskill, who was instructed to study my [Verne Rhoades] trails in Pisgah Forest. Photographs by Gaskill to illustrate trail construction in Pisgah Forest. Mr. Gaskill was a student in BFS and later became forester for the state of New Jersey."
