Description
Frances Goodrich collected weaving drafts throughout the Appalachian region. Sarah Nelson gave Frances Goodrich samples and pattern drafts for eleven counterpanes whose patterns had been in her family. Most of the samples were made in the early 1900s and are not in good condition. This counterpane is all cotton and the pattern is named hucky and plain stripe.
