Description

This two minute interview segment featuring father and son blacksmiths Bea and Mike Hensley was produced in 1991 by UNC-TV. Hosted by Bill Friday for the North Carolina People series, the video was shot in the Hensley workshop in Spruce Pine, N.C. In the segment, Mike explains aspects of blacksmithing heritage and Bea's apprenticeship with Daniel Boone VI. Bea and Mike then demonstrate hammer language on the anvil.
