Subject

John C. Campbell Folk School

Description

This letter from Clementine Douglas refers to a visit she and her mother made to the John C. Campbell Folk School in 1930. She is thanking "Forstander" for the refreshing time they spent. She passes along word of Mr. Floyd Brallias and complains that George Bidstrup's song about Napolean Bonaparte has been stuck in her head. Douglas kept a notebook of song lyrics. "Forstander" is probably a nick-name for someone at the folk school.
