Description

This undated map, labeled Bradley Fork, appears to be printed then over labeled with pencil notations. The map was collected by Horace Kephart (1862-1931), noted naturalist, woodsman, journalist, and author, and it is likely that the notations are his. After moving to western North Carolina in 1904, Kephart became fascinated by the Appalachian landscape and culture and collected clippings, photographs, and maps of the region throughout his life.
