Description

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was established in 1933 as a public works program during the Great Depression. There were 22 camps located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Company 411 was located near Smokemont. Enrollees pose at the entrance sign to the camp. Attached to the sign is another sign with "US Fish Hatchery" with a pointing arrow.
