Description
Myrtle Point is a popular lookout on Mount LeConte, the 3rd highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, topping out at 6,593 ft. This photograph, with others in this series, are included in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club, formed after a group of outdoor enthusiasts hiked up to Mount LeConte in October 1924.
