This photograph is of a very large tree on Thunderhead Prong of Little River. This photograph, with others in this series, are included in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club, formed after a group of outdoor enthusiasts hiked up to Mount LeConte in October 1924. Written on back: 21 1/2 feet in circumference 2 1/2 feet above ground.
