This 1923 photograph of Mount LeConte from Sugarland Mountains is in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club. The club was formed after a group of outdoor enthusiasts hiked up to Mount LeConte in October 1924. Mount LeConte is the 3rd highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, topping out at 6,593 ft.
