Description

Mack Hannah, of Little Cataloochee Creek in Cataloochee, North Carolina, was one of the builders of the Will Messer (Upper Place) in Little Cataloochee. This 1935 photograph was made by Edouard E. Exline (1905-1960), who signed his work “E.E.E.” Exline often accompanied Charles S. Grossman (1900-1972) and Hiram Coleman Wilburn (1880-1967) on historic preservation documentation for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
