Description

This December 1899 correspondence between Charles Walcott, C. P. Ambler, and Marion Butler discusses forestry maps. During its six-year existence, the Appalachian National Park Association drew up and distributed a number of maps. The association was formed in 1899 for the purpose of promoting the idea of a national park in the eastern U.S.
