Description

These November 1899 minutes reflect the outcome of, perhaps, the first meeting of the Publicity and Promotion Committee of the Appalachian National Park Association. At this meeting, it was decided to create a circular outlining the goals of the association. Secretary Chase Ambler noted he secured 1000 stickers to promote the national park and a collaboration between the association and the magazine “Southern Pictures and Pencillings” was formalized.
