Description

“Circular No. 3” is a reprint from the magazine, “Southern Pictures and Pencillings.” By December 1899, the Appalachian National Park Association adopted the magazine as the official organ of the association. The publication was produced by A. H. McQuilkin, a Chicago-based editor who moved to Asheville, North Carolina in the mid-1890s and became involved with the association.
