In this letter of March 13, 1946, Laura Kephart writes Dear family, likely to George and Pauline, to send them a copy of an old letter (not included). She updates them on Lucy’s son David, who is serving time in the army together with other classmates from Cornell, and Jimmie Warren has orders to view the atomic bomb experiment. She tells him that Lucy took her to the Lurch to make sure it is ready for the decorators and she is looking forward to staying there in warmer weather. Leonard wants to come pick her up and take her to Tacoma Park to see the babies. The letter is signed M. E., but it is in Laura’s handwriting.
