In this letter of January 8, 1946, Laura Kephart writes to her son, Leonard Kephart (1892-1988) to send him correspondence from Macmillan and Boonville so he can answer Mr. Symington who is writing Horace Kephart’s biography. She had a visit from George and Pauline with their boys Roy and Horace. She mentions two deaths, Kitty Furry who fell, and Mr. Patterson who had pneumonia. She gives him the phone number to 111 and hope that the phone soon rings with news of someone coming to visit.
