In this letter of May 3, 1945, Laura Kephart writes to her son, Leonard Kephart (1892-1988) to send him the rest of what she has of Horace Kephart’s belongings. She includes a card she has for his son Buddy and she catches him up on Barbara and Roy’s daughter Laura, and Roy’s issues dealing with his mother’s estate. She expresses her frustration at not being able to retrieve Horace Kephart’s belongings from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
