In this letter of February 9, 1942, Cornelia writes her brother Leonard Kephart (1892-1988) to let him know that their mother’s 80th birthday is coming up and he should make sure to write her. Cornelia is planning on calling her while her children Jeanette and Virginia are there visiting. She catches him up on the lives of her children and remembers that Leonard’s child Buddy’s birthday is the day after Virginia’s and she hopes he won’t get a call from the army.
