The creation of small paintings, comprised of both nameable and unnamable objects which occupy enigmatic spaces, was the focus of my thesis exploration. At the core of the making of these works was my ongoing exploration of touch with paint and a representational quality which swings between graphic and shrouded. The translation of the subject through the making of the painting has resulted in intimately puzzling images.
