Description
Amy shares the beginning of a new direction in her life with her story “My Knight in Shining Armor” about a new love. The background music is “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Ronnie Evans. On Creative Corner, Doreyl talks with Doris Hunter about the upcoming Hard Candy Christmas Show at WCU’s Ramsey Center in Cullowhee. Doris discusses some of the types of crafts that will be on display and explains the origin of the show’s name. The segment is followed by “Libera” from the Music2Hues collection. Amy’s guest on Stories of Mountain Folk is once again Beth Breedlove from Bryson City. She shares some of the Breedlove family history and holiday traditions. The interview is followed by Carolina Moon by Maureen McGovern. On Let Us March On, Mary Sue Casey’s guest is evangelist Lessie Williams, originally from Randolph County. She recounts how she first came to western North Carolina to pastor a church. Following the interview is “Bones, Bones, Bones” by the Golden Gate Quartet. Judy welcomes Bobby McMillon from Madison County once more to Down Another Road. Bobby talks about the Harmon and Hicks families and how they handed down the traditions of ballads, stories, and Jack tales. “Things to Come” from the Music2Hues collection follows the segment. The show closes with “Whoa Mule” by Jacob Jones.
