This close up picture of the Haywood County Courthouse in Waynesville, N.C., shows the tower which distinguished the building as a town landmark. The Courthouse dated from 1884 and served the county until a new building was constructed in 1931 to alleviate space and structural concerns. This postcard was cancelled at Waynesville on August 14, 1919.
