These two meal tickets of Weston Carr Hooper, dated November and December, 1944 were issued while Carr Hooper and his wife Ruth were interned at Santo Tomas Internment Camp in Manila, Philippines. The camp, also known as the Manila Internment Camp, was run by the Japanese military during World War II and housed over 3,000 internees from January 1942 until February 1945.
