This luggage tag belonged to W. Carr Hooper who was interned at Santo Tomas Internment camp in Manila, Philippines with his wife Ruth from January 1942 to February 1945. The camp, also known as the Manila Internment Camp, was run by the Japanese military during World War II and housed over 3,000 internees from January 1942 until February 1945.
