Description
Bill Koehler was born in 1946 in Buffalo, New York. His father, a World War II veteran, died young, and the family moved to Duncan, South Carolina when he was 12. Bill was drafted to the Army in 1966 and was trained as a helicopter pilot. Koehler served in Vietnam for two tours, flew countless dangerous missions, and was shot down three times. Koehler discusses meeting his wife and adjusting to life after the Vietnam War.
