Description
Nancie Wilson talks about Safe Zone training at Western Carolina University as well as Safe Zone activities at Southwestern Community College. Wilson explains the origin of Safe Zone and shares the history of Safe Zone on campus along with the details on how she and others on campus were trained to conduct Safe Zone sessions. Two artifacts from that training are included with this interview: the first Safe Zone poster and a poem titled, “I am Only One Person” written by Frank L. Nasca and Jefferson L. Humphrey.
